Jocelyne Emile Jouquin, 63, passed away peacefully in the presence of her beloved husband and her youngest daughter on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jocelyne was born on March 13, 1961, to Ynervelie Clervois and Philogene Emile in Saint Marc, Artibonite. From a young age, Jocelyne loved money and knew exactly what to do to make her money work for her. She was a retailer of all kinds of goods.
In 1995, Jocelyne met Faubert Jouquin in Port-au-Prince Haiti. Jocelyne and Faubert fell in love and got married that same year. They went on to have a beautiful daughter Emannia Jouquin. Jocelyne and Faubert were married for 29 years.
After being separated from her husband for several years, Jocelyne came to America on July 19, 2018, with her daughter Emannia to join her husband. Jocelyne was a loving and attentive wife and mother. Her family was her biggest pride and accomplishment. She loved her husband dearly and she would never miss an occasion to talk about her children, and especially her grandchildren.
Jocelyne’s inner beauty made her very special and unique. She had a way to make everyone around her feel loved and appreciated. She was always jovial and a fun person to be around. She was caring, generous and loyal.
Jocelyne loved talking on the phone. She would spend a whole day calling everybody she knew on the phone. She loved God and her favorite thing to do was to go to Church and pray to her God.
Jocelyne is survived by her husband, her four children, and her fourteen (14) grandchildren: husband, Faubert Jouquin; children, Bladimir Jean-Charles, Kathia Clervois, Choumenca Cangé, and Emannia Jouquin; and her grandchildren, Tchaly Joseph, Jenny Joseph, Chivenchi Clervois, Chikenchi Clervois, Terwens Estiverne, Mohana Satya Estiverne, Lena Nia-Lisa Ceide, Ryan Jean-Charles, Nora Jean-Charles, Oneida Jean-Charles, Owen Jean-Charles, Vincent Winglith, Adassa Joseph, and Jemir Joseph; her in-laws, Rosnard Valery Jean-Charles and Jeff Joseph.
Jocelyne is also survived by her brothers, Silantor Clervois, Considieu Guillaume, and Ulrick Emile; and sisters, Derisine Emile and Marie-Yolene Clervois.
Jocelyne is preceded in death by her parents, Ynervelie Clervois and Philogene Emile; her brothers, Bosier Emile, Ketnel Guillaume; and her sister, Carline Guillaume.
